As the elections approach, Massachusetts’ statewide ballot questions always spark great interest from BostonGlobe.com users. The questions can be lengthy and confusing, often making it difficult for a voter to decide which way to vote.
As a designer, I wanted to give our readers an easy way to research the ballot questions, read our recommendations and make a decision. I also wanted them to be able to refer back to their decision once the reached the voting booth. I came up with a few different solutions to this problem, but the most practical and simple one was to create a form that allowed readers to send themselves an email with their choices. The final analytics showed that nearly 1,700 users did so.
This project was a milestone for me, as it was my first time writing all of the HTML and CSS.
