Make It Stop
After the shootings at an Orlando nightclub in June 2016, editors at The Boston Globe decided that the organization needed to make a powerful statement in favor of an assault weapons ban.
We quickly decided on a four-page wrap of the newspaper, and we spent a lot of time thinking about how we could have the same impact online. Our team came up with a plan to present the supporting evidence for the editorial, and we created a way for readers to easily tweet to six senators who have stood in the way of gun control. More than 10,000 tweets were sent using the tool.
I designed the branding for the piece and worked with the team to design and build the other elements of the piece.
